KNBT Friday Afternoon Club

A Gruene Hall tradition, the Friday Afternoon Club is now in its 23rd year! The place where hipsters, oldsters, suits, locals and drifters mix it up to start their weekend rite- pun intended! This quintessential Friday happy hour celebrates the warmer weather with great beer prices, prize giveaways and the best in Texas tunes broadcast live by KNBT 92.1 FM Radio New Braunfels.

There's even a very special guest interview each week! Some Gruene Hall icons that have stopped by for a chat have included Ray Benson, Steve Earle, Delbert McClinton, Radney Foster, Hayes Carll and Ray Wylie Hubbard. Good times!

26th Annual Two Ton Tuesdays & Swing Dance Lessons

It wouldn't be summertime without popular rock-a-billy band Two Tons of Steel holding court in Gruene Hall every Tuesday evening. If you haven't caught Two Ton fever yet, grab your dancing shoes and get ready. The band takes the stage at 8:30pm. Come early for Swing Dance Lessons from 6pm to 7pm. Gospel Brunch with a Texas Twist in Gruene Hall*

In the tradition of a New Orleans-style gospel brunch, we are serving up awe-inspiring gospel music coupled with a mouth-watering buffet catered by Gristmill River Restaurant & Bar.
