KNBT Friday Afternoon Club

A Gruene Hall tradition, the Friday Afternoon Club is now in its 23rd year! The place where hipsters and oldsters, locals and drifters mix it up to start their weekend off right! This quintessential Friday happy hour celebrates the warmer weather with special beer prices, prize giveaways and the best in Texas tunes.

Broadcast live by KNBT 92.1 FM Radio New Braunfels, there's even a very special guest interview each week. Some that have stopped by for a chat include Ray Benson, Steve Earle, Delbert McClinton, Radney Foster, Hayes Carll and Ray Wylie Hubbard. How do you join the Club? Ramble in, just as you are!



Two Ton Tuesdays & Swing Dance Lessons

It wouldn't be summertime without popular rock-a-billy band Two Tons of Steel holding court in Gruene Hall every Tuesday evening - and they're back this year for the 25th summer! If you haven't felt the energy of Two Tons live, grab your dancing partner and get ready for a rockin' night! The band takes the stage at 8:30pm. Come early for Swing Dance Lessons from 6pm to 7pm - perfect for beginners or those wanting to polish their wraps, tunnels, turns and spins! Come and Taste It

Third Thursdays: June 17 | July 15 | August 19


On the third Thursday of each month (except January), visit The Grapevine and taste some of Texas' best wines and craft beer straight from the winemakers and brewers.

This monthly event features complimentary tastings, live music and door prizes. It's the perfect opportunity to sit, sip and relax in the heart of Gruene Historic District. More information about each month's selections can be found here.
