KNBT Friday Afternoon Club


A Gruene Hall tradition, now in its 15th year, and still going strong! Get your weekend kickin' at Gruene Hall every Friday from 4-7pm. Enjoy happy hour, prize giveaways and the best in Texas tunes, broadcasted live by KNBT 92.1 FM Radio New Braunfels with Mattson Rainer. Need another reason to come out? You never know who might stop by -- Ray Benson, Steve Earle, Delbert McClinton, Radney Foster, Hayes Carll and Ray Wylie Hubbard have all stopped by for a chat, just to name a few. Good times!

Gospel Brunch with a Texas Twist at Gruene Hall


In the tradition of a New Orleans-style gospel brunch, we are serving up awe-inspiring gospel music coupled with a mouth-watering buffet catered by Gristmill River Restaurant & Bar. Come and Taste It

Meet Texas’ best winemakers and craft brewers at The Grapevine the third Thursday of each month except January. Throughout the year, eleven wineries and the winemakers are showcased on the patio and garden of this popular tasting room in Gruene Historic District. With The Grapevine's new addition of select craft beers on tap, each month will also feature one brewery which will offer samples alongside the wine. Complimentary tastings will be offered of the craft beer and three of the wineries newest releases, top-selling and hardest to find wines. This a great opportunity to learn direct from these craftsmen, engage with other visitors interested in wine and beer and enjoy the natural surroundings and all the other offerings of Gruene Historic District. Registration begins at 7am
Race starts at 8am at Gruene Hall

Enjoy a leisurely or competitive run through Gruene Historic District. Post-race music at Gruene Hall with food and beer provided to all participants. 27th Annual Gruene Music & Wine Fest


This Americana event benefiting the United Way of Comal County features the best in live Texas music and the best in Texas food and wines at Gruene Hall and The Grapevine. All four days will be filled with vintner and music events, wine & food samplings and the Great Guitar Auction. 21st Annual Texas Clay Festival
10am - 6pm

30th Annual Tour de Gruene Bicycle Classic

Registration begins at 7am / Race starts at 8am


Participants enjoy a leisurely ride through the Texas Hill Country or competitive time trials with prizes for the best course records. Create a Christmas memory with photos with Cowboy Kringle, Gruene's own brand of Santa! Packages are available, along with photo ornaments, Christmas cards and other special order items. 5th Annual Gruene Turkey Trot - 5K Run/Walk and 1/4 Mile Kids' Turkey Chase

Registration begins at 6:30am


Fun for the whole family! Start your Thanksgiving Day with an exhilarating 5K run/walk through Gruene Historic District. Kids under 12 years old will have a blast chasing a Turkey Mascot for a 1/4 mile through Gruene. Races begin and end in front of Gruene Hall. Benefiting local charities, including the Comal County Sheriff's Green Santa Program and the New Braunfels Police Department Blue Santa Program.
